“Good luck to the nine swimmers who are attempting this feat for the first time, a 60 mile swim between Hushinish in North Harris and St Kilda. They propose to leave Harris at 4am tomorrow morning (Friday 24 July)and hopefully arrive in Village Bay, St Kilda by late Saturday evening.
“They are hoping to be the first team ever to complete this dangerous challenge, and raise money for four charities: The Leanne Fund, The Fishermen’s Mission, Yorkhill Children’s Charity and the Aberlour Child Care Trust.
“Hopefully, the weather will be kind to them and they will complete this amazing feat.”
