Ceolas has firmed up the programme for their annual symposium, which is taking the SS Marloch emigration as its theme this year.
The symposium is scheduled for Friday, April 28 and Saturday, April 29.
The events get underway on Friday, April 28, with a piping recital by local pipers in Talla an Iochdair from 8 pm. Tickets are priced at £10.
Saturday, April 29, kicks off at 11 am with a free guided walk around Muir of Aird led by the Benbecula Historical Society that focuses on emigration and history.
At 2 pm in Kildonan Museum, Gillebride Macmillan will talk about the journey aboard the SS Marloch. This is also a free event and will be delivered in Gaelic.
And the symposium wraps up later that evening with the Glenfinnan Ceilidh Band entertaining at Stoneybridge from 7.30 pm. Tickets on the door are priced at £10 for adults and £5 for the under 12s. Family tickets are also available.
Meanwhile, the Ceolas weekly singing session on Monday, March 27, is taking place at the later time of 7.30 pm in Cnoc Soilleir. It will be the last session until they recommence on Monday, April 17.
