The Screen Machine mobile cinema is on its way to Uist, full of the latest hit movies.

It is due in Carinish Hall car park on Thursday, February 9 and will show Matilda the Musical and The Banshees of Inisherin.

The next stop is three nights at the Dark Island Hotel in Liniclate (Friday, February 10 to Sunday, February 12 inclusive). There are seven movies on the bill; Living, Heading West: A Story About A Band Called Shooglenifty, Matilda the Musical, The Banshees of Inisherin, Whitney Houston: I Wanna Dance With Somebody, Avatar: The Way of Water, and Empire of Light.

The big blue cinema on wheels then heads further south to the Borrodale Hotel in Daliburgh for two nights (Tuesday, February 14 and Wednesday, February 15). Showing will be Matilda the Musical, Avatar: The Way of Water, and Empire of Light.

The final leg of the Uist tour is Castlebay School car park for three nights from Thursday, February 16. Screening will be Living, Heading West: A Story About A Band Called Shooglenifty, Matilda the Musical, Whitney Houston: I Wanna Dance With Somebody, Avatar: The Way of Water, and Empire of Light.
