Mast upgrade

WHP Telecoms, the Scottish Government and the Scottish Futures Trust (SFT) Digital Strategy for Scotland have notified the Comhairle of proposed upgrading work at the Baymore telecoms mast on Grimsay.

It is proposed that the existing base station be upgraded with three additional antennas, two new cabinets and ancillary development.

According to their submission, the upgrade is required to address coverage issues in the area.
