The Western Isles Lottery Team Lottery Team have been busy with the planning of this year’s Stornoway Festive Lights Switch-On and are pleased to announce the event will take place on Tuesday 29 November 2022.

Janet Paterson of the Western Isles Lottery said: “We are again, for the sixth successive year, doing our very best to brighten up Stornoway Town Centre for everyone to enjoy during the Festive Season.

"There are some additions to last year’s display, as well as some adjustments, to maximise the impact and the use of our budget.

“Every penny being spent on the display has been raised by Supporters of the Western Isles Lottery and we would be delighted if as many locals as possible would join us to help raise as much as possible.

"Clearly the more funds we raise, the more we can achieve!

“Each year displays across all areas of the Western Isles have increased in line with the funds raised in each individual area. All area teams are hard at work planning this year’s displays”
