Benbecula and Lochboisdale coastguard rescue teams were called at 10.30pm on Thursday (11 August) when Scottish Ambulance Service crews asked for help with a fallen walker.

A teenage girl had slipped and fallen on rocks at Eriskay and needed to be stretchered to the waiting ambulance by CRT crew members.

The girl was passed into the care of ambulance crew and coastguard crews were stood down with the task completed at 11.45pm.
